The program is very easy to use with its intuitive interface.

You only have to give it a link and the program will do the rest. The colors of the interface are well chosen; they do not irritate the eyes and are not very contrasting. The main colors are black and gray which is a good choice for this kind of program.

For the purpose of download management, Tucan Manager uses CAPTCHAS. CAPTCHA is a kind of test that is generated by a computer in order to determine whether the user is a human or a machine. In order to define that, it asks a simple question which answer is too obvious for a normal person, but not for a machine. However, Tucan Manager has solved this hindrance with an automatic captcha recognition that includes an OCR engine and a huge code library. After that automatic step, file downloading is extremely fast.

Tucan Manager is written in Python language. It is also licensed GPL2, which means that it is not only free to use, but it can also be modified without having the permission of the publisher.
